I beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether he is now prepared to offer the same facilities as those afforded by most of the Continental Post Offices for the despatch of registered boxes, of manageable dimensions, containing jewellery and other articles of value.

This matter has been under my consideration for some time, and I hope to be able soon to commence the service experimentally with one or two of the nearer Continental countries.
