SYDNEY BUXTONThe work was to have been begun as long ago as 2nd April, but unfortunately, through a misunderstanding on the part of one of the engineers, the necessary formal consent had not been obtained from the Corporation of Westminster. The work is being carried on night and day, and will be finished, I hope, by the end of the month.
