HC Deb 18 May 1908 vol 188 c1609
MR. McHUGH

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, as Chairman of the Congested Districts Board, whether the Board propose to complete the fishing pier at Bally-council, county Sligo, which was commenced last year but left unfinished,; and can he say when the interrupted work will be resumed.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Congested Districts Board did not commence to make a pier at Ballyconnell, and had no intention of constructing one there. The Board, however, undertook to clear stones from the landing-place, and this work was completed at a cost of £141.
