HAROLD COX (Preston)To ask the Secretary of State for War what is approximately, according to the latest figures available, the total war strength of the German Army; what is the annual expenditure by the German Empire upon the Army; and what are the corresponding figures for the British Army, including in that term all troops paid for by the taxpayers of the United Kingdom and by the taxpayers of India.
