HC Deb 07 May 1908 vol 188 c433
MR. LUPTON (Lincolnshire, Sleaford)

I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board if he is aware that, on the 9th March, 1908, Doris Irene Leese, daughter of George Leese, of 8, Grove Road, Fenton, Staffordshire, died, at the age of three months, as the result of vaccination, as shown in the death certificate; and if, in consequence, he will take steps to stop the distribution by the Local Government Board of vaccine lymph until some stuff has been discovered which can be used without danger.

MR. JOHN BURNS

My attention has been called to this case, and I am making inquiry with regard to it. I could not, however, undertake to stop the issue of glycerinated calf lymph.
