HC Deb 07 May 1908 vol 188 cc428-9
MR. JOHN WARD

asked the Home Secretary a Question, of which he had given private notice, whether a Russian subject, now serving a sentence of imprisonment for assault in Wandsworth Prison, was to be deported to Russia on 12th May; and whether, in view of the fact that this man was to be shot on his return for some offence alleged to have been committed in his own country, the Secretary of State would consider the advisability of varying the order for deportation.

MR. GLADSTONE

I have no information at this moment on the subject, but will make inquiries.
