To ask the Secretary of State for India whether the Government of India has given due effect to his instructions to make widely known in India the circumstances in respect of Indian immigration which at present obtain in Canada; and whether, if necessary, he will supplement these instructions, in view of the fact that British-Indian subjects still continue to arrive in Canada, where their reception is unsatisfactory.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Morley.) The Government of India have made the facts widely known, and have taken special steps to warn intending emigrants The whole subject is receiving my careful attention.
