To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether he can state the names of the public houses in Devonshire extinguished under the Act of 1904, the total amount of compensation awarded in each case, and the amount paid thereout to each individual licence-holder.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) I regret that I cannot undertake to obtain the information asked for as regards individual houses. The annual volumes of Licensing Statistics contain all the information which I can give in regard to the County of Devonshire, and I must refer my hon. friend to them.
