DU CROS (Hastings)I beg to ask the Postmaster-General upon what date the revised hours of night duty, outlined in Paragraph 31 of the Select Committee's recommendations, will come into operation; and whether the time worked by the staff from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. since 1st January last will be regarded and paid for as overtime.
§ MR. SYDNEY BUXTONThe duties affected will be adjusted at the earliest opportunity. Meanwhile overtime rates will be paid as from 1st January last.
