HC Deb 11 March 1908 vol 185 cc1514-5
MR. W. T. WILSON

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether he can state approximately the capital value of the machinery that is at the present time lying idle at the Woolwich Arsenal.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The exact capital value of machinery at present lying idle in the Ordnance Factories in the Royal Arsenal cannot be stated until after the close of the financial year, but it may be roughly estimated to be about £250,000.
