To ask the Secretary to the Admiralty with reference to the statement of the First Lord of the Admiralty in his Memorandum to Parliament, 23rd February, 1907, that the Channel, Atlantic, and Home Fleets will carry out periodic exercises together under the Commander-in-Chief of the Channel Fleet, who will take the supreme command in war, whether he can state how many vessels of the Home Fleet took part in the manœuvres last year.

(Answered by Mr. Edmund Robertson.) In the October manœuvres thirty-nine vessels of the Home Fleet took part.
