HC Deb 10 March 1908 vol 185 c1294
MR. C. H. CORBETT (Sussex, East Grinstead)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether facilities for drilling, attending annual trainings, and the like, will be given to officers of the Territorial Army, posted to the unattached lists of their counties, who may desire to maintain their military efficiency pending absorption in other units as vacancies occur.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) Officers who become supernumerary in their units or are placed on the unattached list on transfer to the Territorial Force may attend the annual training in camp, provided that they take the place of an officer of the same or higher rank and that the total number of officers trained in camp does not exceed the total number on the establishment of the units. Officers on the unattached list may train under these conditions with any unit in the command. Pay and allowances will be admissible to officers attending training under these conditions.
