HC Deb 10 March 1908 vol 185 cc1293-4
COLONEL LOCKWOOD (Essex, Epping)

To ask the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether a workman named West, in the Royal Small Arms Factory, Enfield Lock, at the age of 62, after suffering the misfortune of a series of accidents during the last twelve years, has now been discharged without any sort of compensation; and, if so, whether this man's case will be taken into consideration.

(Answered by Mr. Runciman.) I am carefully considering whether I can do anything to assist this man, but the question presents great difficulties, and I am unable to announce any decision.
