HC Deb 09 March 1908 vol 185 cc1093-4
MR. HARWOOD (Bolton)

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether any decision has been arrived at respecting the petition presented to him on 13th February by the House of Keys, asking for certain reforms in the constitution of the Isle of Man.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Gladstone.) I have had the advantage of consultation with the authorities of the island and the representatives of the House of Keys, and I am not yet in a position to decide what ought to be done. The matter requires very careful consideration.
