§ Mr. PATRICK WHITE (Meath, N.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have received an application from Luke Caffrey, Diamor, Crossa-keel, for an economic holding on the lands of Galmoystown; and if it will receive favourable consideration.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell) An application from Luke Caffrey for a parcel of land on the Kearney estate, county Meath, was received by the Estates Commissioners on the 14th ultimo, but the applicant is not among the persons whom the Commissioners have selected as most suitable for the allotment of untenanted land on the estate in question.
