HC Deb 04 March 1908 vol 185 cc663-4
MR. GRETTON (Rutland)

To ask the Secretary of State for War if Army Form 502, the attestation paper for the Territorial Force, is definitely withdrawn; and, if so, whether he will consider the expediency of postponing the time for the completion of the new attestation papers to some date later than the 31st March, in view of the great amount of clerical work entailed and the delay in issuing the papers.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The original attestation form for the Territorial Force has been cancelled, and it is hoped to issue the revised form very shortly. Serving Yeomen and Volunteers who wish to enter the Territorial Force need not attest before 30th June and cannot begin to do so before 31st March, so that ample time has been provided.
