HC Deb 04 March 1908 vol 185 cc666-7
MR. ACLAND (Yorkshire, Richmond)

To ask the President of the Board of Education what number of parishes in the rural districts of the North Riding of Yorkshire contained on the 1st of January of this year only one public elementary school, and more than one respectively.

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) A Return is in course of preparation giving the names and other information regarding all voluntary schools in single-school parishes as denned by the Education Bill, but I regret I am unable to extend its scope so as to include parishes with more than one school.
