HAY MORGAN (Cornwall, Truro)I beg to ask the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he can state the reasons for the reductions which have been made in the coastguard force; and whether, in view of their service in life-saving from shipwrecks on the coast, he can give any assurance to the House that the present strength of the force will not be further reduced.
