HC Deb 02 March 1908 vol 185 c323
MR. DUFFY (Galway, S.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland what is the cause of the delay in completing the settlement of the Lambert Minors estate in Athenry, Castle Ellen, Glones, and Kingsland; and when it is proposed to dispose of the matter finally.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that the arrangements for the re-purchase of the portions of the town of Athenry proposed to be acquired by them have not yet been finally settled. As soon as these arrangements are complete, the sale will be carried through as quickly as possible.
