HC Deb 29 June 1908 vol 191 c376
MR. E. BARRY (Cork County, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether inquiries have recently been instituted into the claims for reinstatement made by the representative of the late Patrick Donovan, evicted tenant, of Castleventry, Clonakilty; whether this farm has been vacant for a number of years; and, if so, what is the cause of the delay in reinstating the representative of Patrick Donovan in this holding.

THE CHIEF SECRETARY FOR IRELAND (Mr. BIRRELL,) Bristol, N.

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they have referred this case to their inspector for inquiry and report as to whether it is possible to make provision for the evicted tenant or his representative. The inspector's report will be considered as soon as it is received.
