§ MR. LONSDALEI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs when it is proposed to appoint British 1556 officials authorised to interpret and enforce the New Hebrides Convention.
§ COLONEL SEELYAll the important British officials required for administrative purposes under the New Hebrides-Convention have already been appointed and are discharging their duties. None of the Judges of the joint Court have yet been appointed; for the reasons stated in my reply to the hon. and gallant Member for St. Andrews Burghs on 5th May, the Court cannot begin its functions-for some little time.
