HC Deb 01 June 1908 vol 189 c1535
MR. J. DEVLIN

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether his attention has been called to the difficulty experienced in obtaining copies of the latest Return with reference to the appointment of magistrates in Ireland; what is the reason for the delay in issuing the Return for sale; and whether he will lay a copy of the Return upon the Table of the House.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) I laid the Return in question upon the Table of the House on 21st May, and an order to print was made on 22nd May. I am in no way responsible for the printing and distribution of such Returns, but I have ascertained from His Majesty's Stationery Office that the printing is in hand, and that copies will be made available as soon as possible. The Return is a voluminous one.
