HC Deb 24 July 1908 vol 193 c505
MR. DUNDAS WHITE (Dumbartonshire)

To ask the President of the Board of Trade if he will state, in the form of a comparative table, what are the average hours of work, the average rates of wages, and the average cost of living of agricultural labourers in the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Russia, and Italy, respectively.

(Answered by Mr. Churchill.) I regret that there is not sufficient, statistical information available to enable me to give my hon. friend the comparative figures he requires.
