HC Deb 20 July 1908 vol 192 c1438
CAPTAIN WARING (Banffshire)

To ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he can now state the result of the inquiries by the legal authorities in Scotland into the outrage committed in the Moray Firth on the fishing boat "Paramount" on 19th February.

(Answered by Mr. Sinclair.) After careful inquiry, and a full consideration of all the facts, the authorities have come to the conclusion that the circumstances do not warrant criminal proceedings.
