HC Deb 09 July 1908 vol 192 cc47-8
MR. J. DEVLIN (Belfast, W.)

To ask the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies whether his attention has been called to the dissatisfaction existing amongst the workers of New Zealand in connection with the operation of the Arbitration Act, and whether he would consider the avisability of issuing a short Report on the subject for the information of workers and others interested in the matter in this country.

(Answered by Colonel Seely.) My hon. friend will find that the matter is dealt with in Mr. Ave's Report on the Wages Boards and Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Acts of Australia and New Zealand, which will be published in a few day's time.
