HC Deb 03 July 1908 vol 191 c1084
MR. LUPTON (Lincolnshire, Sleaford)

To ask the Postmaster-General what are the regulations with regard to the vaccination of the staff and employees in the Post Office, including the telegraph and telephone departments.

(Answered by Mr. Sydney Buxton.) Candidates for Post Office employment are required to be re-vaccinated unless they exhibit good marks of primary and secondary vaccination or definite evidence of having had small pox. The only exceptions to this regulation are applicants for appointment as commission sub-postmasters and persons casually employed for short periods.
