HC Deb 01 July 1908 vol 191 cc740-1
MR. WATT (Glasgow, College)

To ask the First Lord of the Admiralty what is to be the future of His Majesty's yacht "Victoria and Albert" now that she has been replaced by a new vessel; is she to be sold; and, if so, will he see that the breaking-up clause is not insisted on, so that a much larger sum may be got for the benefit of the nation?

(Answered by Mr. McKenna.) There is no intention of selling His Majesty's yacht "Victoria and Albert," which has not been replaced by a new vessel.
