HC Deb 17 February 1908 vol 184 c397
MAJOR ANSTRUTHER-GRAY (St Andrews Burghs)

To ask the Secretary of State for War whether the reductions in His Majesty's Arsenal at Woolwich have reached the normal point aimed at, or whether further reductions are now in contemplation.

(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) The numbers in the Arsenal have not reached the normal minimum proposed, but the gradual reduction to that minimum will be effected by wastage, and not by further discharges.
