HC Deb 17 February 1908 vol 184 c451
MR. FFRENCH (Wexford, S.)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland if he can explain why James Brett, Tanner Hill, who is the only evicted tenant belonging to the estate of T. J. Walker, Esq., was not restored to his home when the estate was sold.

MR. CHERRY

The Estates Commissioners inform me that they are negotiating with the owner for the purchase of the estate in question, but an agreement has not yet been arrived at as to the price of the holding formerly occupied by James Brett.
