§ DR. AMBROSE (Mayo, W.)To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what was the price paid by the Congested Districts Board for the Kilmaine Estate, near Castlebar, County Mayo; and if the annuities now about to be demanded will be 3½ per cent. on the purchase price.
(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The purchase price was £9,124. The estate has not yet been resold to the tenants. The annuity payable under the Irish Land Act, 1903, is 3¼ per cent. on the amount advanced.
