To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland what was the price paid by the Congested Districts Board for the Kilmaine Estate, near Castlebar, County Mayo; and if the annuities now about to be demanded will be 3½ per cent. on the purchase price.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The purchase price was £9,124. The estate has not yet been resold to the tenants. The annuity payable under the Irish Land Act, 1903, is 3¼ per cent. on the amount advanced.
