§ MR. WEDGWOODI beg to ask the Postmaster-General whether postmasters outside London have to sign a document saying that they are unable 1087 to find men to act as casual postmen at Christmas at 4d. an hour, before they are entitled to allow them 6d. an hour; and, if so, will he consider the advisability of changing this practice.
§ THE POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. SYDNEY BUXTON,) Tower Hamlets, PoplarI am not aware of any case in which a postmaster has been asked to sign a document of the kind. Perhaps the hon. Member will furnish me with the document in question, and I will then inquire into the matter.
