§ SIR HOWARD VINCENT (Sheffield, Central)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs if the Republic of Brazil is now giving, or is about to give, a preference of 20 per cent. on all imports of hardware and cutlery from the United States of America; and, in such case, if he will detail what steps His Majesty's Minister at Rio de Janeiro is taking to obtain a similar concession in respect of Sheffield hardware and cutlery, and if they are likely to prove successful.
