To ask the Secretary of State for India what was the area of land in India under cultivation with opium, and what was the total number of provis on chests of opium exported from India, during the past three years 1904–5, 1905–6, and 1906–7.

The acreage here given is for the Bengal and Behar Opium Agencies, which alone furnish provision opium.
