HC Deb 05 February 1908 vol 183 c873
MR. BOLAND

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland, can he state what steps, if any, have been taken by the Congested Districts Board to carry out the required improvements in the fishing cove of Cooscroum, county Kerry, to which his attention has frequently been called, and as to which valuable evidence was given before the Congested Districts Commission last summer.

MR. BIRRELL

The Congested Districts Board hope to be able to improve the landing-place at Cooscroum in the course of the year 1909, if funds should be available.

MR. BOLAND

Is the right hon. Gentleman prepared to have these works carried out?

MR. BIRRELL

I am not quite sure, but the whole matter is undergoing careful investigation.
