HC Deb 04 February 1908 vol 183 cc721-2
MR. STAVELEY-HILL (Staffordshire, Kingswinford)

I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland whether he is aware that on 26th November three men were fired at from behind a hedge in the townland of Kilmore, County Clare, as they were driving along a road; and whether any arrests have been made.

MR. BIRRELL

On 24th November last two shots were fired in a field at Kilmore at a time when three men were passing along the road. A man was arrested and taken before the resident magistrate, who refused informations. There was no evidence to show that the shots were fired at the men.
