HC Deb 21 December 1908 vol 198 c2363
MR. ANNAN BRYCE (Inverness Burghs)

To ask the President of the Local Government Board what has been the result of inquiries which he promised to make as to the forbidding throughout Germany of the use of coal residues in reinforced concrete for building purposes; and whether he proposes to take any steps with regard to the use of such material in England.

(Answered by Mr. John Burns.) I have made some inquiry on this subject, but my investigations are not at present concluded, and in the meantime I am not in a position to come to a conclusion with regard to the use in England of the material referred to.
