CATHCART WASON (Orkney and Shetland)I beg to ask the President of the Local Government Board whether pension officers have been instructed to appeal against claims granted by a pension committee on the ground that the applicant has been absent; and, if so, will he state the nature of the instructions issued to pension officers, especially with reference to seafaring persons.
