DR. RUTHERFORD (Middlesex, Brentford)

I beg to ask the Undersecretary of State for India whether he is aware that British-Indian traders are being systematically boycotted by their white rivals in the Transvaal, the boycott extending to Dutch farmers who prefer to deal with Indians in preference to European traders; and whether the Secretary of State proposes to take any action in the matter.
