I beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether he can furnish the latest reports as to the Island of Hayti, and whether any foreign troops have had occasion to land there.

The most recent information is contained in a telegram from the commander of H.M.S. "Cressy," dated the 10th instant, and is to the effect that all was quiet and that His Majesty's Consul General did not anticipate disturbances for the present. H.M.S. "Indefatigable" remains at Port-au-Prince
