HC Deb 28 April 1908 vol 187 c1063
MR. LONSDALE (Armagh, Mid.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland whether the Estates Commissioners have arranged terms for the purchase of grazing lands at Cookesboro' and Killulagh; and whether, in the distribution of these lands, all persons who have been found or are known to have taken part in cattle-driving will be excluded from any share in the property.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners are negotiating for the purchase of untenanted lands on the Pakenham and Fetherstonhaugh estates at the places named, but at the present stage of the proceedings it would be premature to consider to whom the lands will be re-sold if purchased. The Commissioners will duly consider any representations which may be made to them in the matter.
