HC Deb 29 May 1907 vol 174 cc1628-9
MR. ARTHUR LEE (Hampshire, Fareham)

I beg to ask the Secretary of State for War whether officers of the Territorial Army will be allowed the same privilege of competing for commissions in the Regular Army that is now extended to officers of the Milita.

MR. HALDANE

The Answer is in the affirmative, subject to conditions similar to those at present applicable to candidates from the Militia and Yeomanry.

MR. ARTHUR LEE

asked what proportion of officers would have this privilege.

MR. HALDANE

said he must have notice of that Question.
