WATT (Glasgow, College)I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if his attention has been called to the unanimous recommendation of the Convention of Royal Burghs of Scotland that private slaughter-houses should be abolished and public abattoirs substituted; and if he will take steps, in view of that recommendation, to carry out the suggestion.
