§ MR. W. BENNTo ask the Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the case of S. Lisle, who served in the Royal Marines from 1st July 1880 to 1st July 1892, and subsequently, in 1893, joined the 4th Essex, in which he served a term of six years, 321 days, and from which he was invalided; and whether Lisle is entitled to any pension or gratuity, in view of the fact that he is at present suffering from paralysis and has lost the sight of the right eye.
(Answered by Mr. Secretary Haldane.) This man's service in the Essex Regiment cannot be traced. If my hon. friend will kindly forward further particulars, giving dates of enlistment and discharge, the case shall be investigated.
