HC Deb 06 May 1907 vol 173 c1352
MR. SMEATON

On behalf of the hon. Member for Roxburghshire, I beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland if he will be able to start an early inquiry as to the need of small holdings at New-castleton and other parts of the parish of Castleton, in Liddesdale, in the county of Roxburgh.

MR. SINCLAIR

If my hon. friend has in view the exercise by the Agricultural Commissioners of their powers under the Small Landholders (Scotland) Bill now before Parliament, I must ask him to defer such inquiries until a later date.
