§ MR. CLAUDE HAYI beg to ask the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any agreement has been arrived at between His Majesty's Government and that of Russia in relation to Persia.
§ MR. RUNCIMANNothing can be added at present to the Answer given to the hon. Member for Mid Armagh on the 25th of April last, to the effect that my right hon. friend is not in a position to make any statement as to the nature of any negotiations respecting Persia.
