HENDERSON (Aberdeenshire, W.)I beg to ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what was the total number of separation orders made by the magistrates of England during the years 1905 and 1906; and what was the total number of decrees of judicial separation made during the same years by the Judges of the Probate Division of the High Court.
§ MR. GLADSTONEThe figures for 1906 will not be available for the next three months. The total number of 468 separation orders made by justices in 1904 was 6,752, and in 1905 the figure was 6,733. The number of decrees for judicial separation was twenty-two in 1904 and twenty-five in 1905.
