MR. DAVID ALFRED THOMAS reported from the Committee on Group 1 of Railway Bills; That the parties opposing the Hull and Barnsley Railway Bill had stated that the evidence of Captain George Pirie, of North Ferriby, near Hull, was essential to their case; and, it having been proved that his attendance could not be procured without the intervention of the House, he had been instructed to move that the said Captain George Pirie do attend the said Committee To-morrow, at half-past Eleven of the clock.

Ordered, That Captain George Pirie do attend the said Committee To-morrow, at half-past Eleven of the clock.
