HC Deb 18 March 1907 vol 171 cc443-4
MR. SAMUEL YOUNG (Cavan, E.)

To ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord- Lieutenant of Ireland whether he will say if the estate of H. Adkins or Mrs. Sinclair and another, trustees, county Cavan, is at present before the Estates Commissioners; will he see that inspection takes place on this estate; and when may the tenants expect to have their holdings vested in them.

(Answered by Mr. Birrell.) The Estates Commissioners inform me that the matter of the county Cavan portion of the estate in question is at present in the hands of the surveyor for the purpose of checking boundaries and occupation, and it is probable that an inspection will take place within the next two months. It is not, however, possible to state when the holdings will be vested in the tenants.
