§ MR. PIKE PEASE (Darlington)I beg to ask the President of the Board of Education what compensation will be paid to those teachers who may lose their employment in the event of schools being closed owing to the Special Religious Instruction Bill.
§ MR. McKennaOn the hypothesis mentioned by the hon. Member the scholars in the closed schools will require instruction elsewhere, and I do not, therefore, anticipate any diminution in the demand for teachers.
