§ MR. WEIRI beg to ask the Secretary for Scotland whether he is aware that large areas of the crofters common grazings in the island of Lewis are absolutely valueless for grazing purposes, being merely skinned land from which the peat has been removed; and will he consider the expediency of introducing a clause into the promised Crofters Act (1886) Amendment Bill to render such land available for the erection of fishermen's dwellings.
